September 27, 2018: residency at Butler University, Indianapolis, IN.

June 6-July 18, 2018: in residence at The MacDowell Colony, Peterborough, NH.

May 2018: awarded Individual Excellence Award from the Ohio Arts Council.

February 19, 2018: performance of It Shakes My Teeth for two electric guitars and percussion, Derek Johnson and Sean Ashcraft with Mantra Percussion, MidAmerican Center for Contemporary Music, Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, OH.

January 2018: “Castillos de Viento” by Duo Damiana released by Innova Recordings (Molly Barth, Dieter Hennings), featuring 5 Haiku for alto flute and guitar.

 

2017

November 2017: awarded 2017 Commission from the Fromm Music Foundation at Harvard University, for new for Mantra Percussion.

July 2017: awarded General Commission from the Barlow Endowment for Music Composition, for new work for Hypercube Ensemble.

 

2016

November 25 and 26: Three for One premiered by Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Taft Theater, Cincinnati, OH, Louis Langrée – conductor.

June: It Shakes My Teeth for two electric guitars and three percussion (parts I and II) performed at nief-norf festival, Knoxville, TN.

January 15: slapback for electric guitar and delay unit performed by Trevor Babb, Spectrum, New York, NY.

 

2015

August 14: Jim & John for flute solo premiered by Lisa Bost at National Flute Association, Washington, DC.
